Blue Ocean Building are expanding their team and have excellent opportunities to develop apprentices into a highly skilled trades person.
As a level 2 Joinery apprentice at Blue Ocean Building you will work on housing developments and commercial projects across the North West region, providing quality joinery services on time.
Reporting to the Site Manager/Foreman the successful applicants will undertake the following roles and responsibilities;
• Attend specified site/pick up point punctually
• Comply with information from workplace inductions and any health, safety and welfare briefings attended relevant to the occupational area applying H&S procedures at all times.
• Use all equipment in accordance with legislation and organisational requirements at all times.
• Conform to efficient work practices
• Move & handle resources
• Install 1st fix components
• Install 2nd fix components
• Undertake any required supplementary task
• Complete all required paperwork to the required standard
What you could go on to do
You can go on to become a skilled trades person in one specific area of construction or become a highly skilled multi trades person with the knowledge and skills to carry out and manage full building and renovation projects

Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Growth Company.

Progress onto further construction related qualifications or move into site supervision or technical support.
