General Insurance - Apprentice
About this opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available as a General Insurance Apprentice. RBIG are looking for an energetic individual with ambition to create a long term career in the General Insurance Broking sector.
The day to day duties in this role include:
Accounts
• Understanding the general Insurer Accounts process
• Processing transactions on the system
• Reconciling payments received against Insurer Accounts
Broking
• Understanding the general Insurance handling processes
• Processing MTAs
• Inputting policy details into the system
• Assisting Account Managers with presentation of information & documentation to clients
• Liaising with clients & insurers in the correct & swift issue of documentation
• Ensuring all computerised records are properly completed & kept up to date
Claims
• Understanding the general claims handling processes
• Inputting new claim details into the system
• Chasing Insurers, clients and third parties for information to process the claims

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply
• GCSE in English and Maths 4/C or above
• Good A Level grades, ideally supported with either IT or Business Studies
Personal Qualities
• Well presented personable individual with good communication and customer relationship skills
Skills
• Experience utilising all aspects of IT, with specific knowledge of the Microsoft Products
