Course Overview

Develop the digital skills you need for everyday life, further learning, and employment. Our Digital Skills courses help learners build confidence using computers, the internet, email, and common workplace software.

Whether you're completely new to digital technology or looking to develop your existing skills, this pathway provides practical, hands-on learning to support your progression into further education, training, apprenticeships, or employment.

Learners may be enrolled onto either the Entry Level 3 or Level 1 qualification depending on their current skills, experience, and individual learning goals.

Every learner is individually assessed at the start of their programme and enrolled onto additional courses and support that best meet their needs, interests and career goals. Depending on your starting point, your study programme may also include:

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications.
Learners should have an interest in health and care and be willing to participate in classroom-based activities and independent study.

Qualification Details

 

City and Guilds Entry Level 3 Digital Skills

This qualification is designed for learners who have some basic digital knowledge and want to develop their confidence using technology independently.

City and Guilds Level 1 Digital Skills

This qualification builds on existing digital skills and prepares learners to use technology effectively in education, training, and the workplace.

 

Funding

This course is FREE for:

  • Young people aged 16–18
  • Young adults aged 19–24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
