Leadership Essentials for All, is a fully funded flexible online short course for individuals aged 16+, who are employed and live or work in the Greater Manchester area.
This course provides a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Management Leadership, which focuses on developing skills and knowledge for aspiring professional leaders and current leaders who want to enhance their existing attributes to become successful management professionals.
You do not have to be in a Managerial role to complete this course
This training is funded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority as part of its three-year Skills for Growth programme, which has been made possible through the European Social Fund.

To achieve this course you must complete the mandatory unit and three optional units from the below:

Option 2 – Developing People
Facilitation skills
Coaching and mentoring
Information, advice and guidance (IAG)
Continuing professional development (CPD)
Option 3 – Well Workforce
Option 4 – Customer Services
Option 5 – Conflict Management
Option 6 – Mental Health
Option 7 - People Management
On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership.
You will also achieve a broader understanding of some of the elements of People Management and Support.
9 weeks, part-time.
Online attendance is required for the mandatory unit only - half day session per week; we understand the importance of work life balance so we offer 6 sessions per week for the mandatory unit so you can select the one that best suits you!
Self-study required for optional units - these can be completed in your own time.
To apply for a place on this fully-funded course, you must be 16+, employed and live or work in the Greater Manchester area.
The programme is delivered via online workshops, so access to a PC/laptop is required.
