Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing Studies
This course will prepare you to work in the construction industry, helping you to understand how the industry works, the organisations involved and the opportunities available to you.
There is a clear emphasis on environmental awareness as well as health & safety and industry standards. The programme is split evenly between theory and practical.

On this Study Programme, you will cover:
- Plastic waste pipe and clipping preparation
- Copper tube preparation and installation
- Low Carbon Steel (LCS) pipework preparation and installation
- Plastic pressure pipe preparation and installation
- Health & safety
- Plumbing scientific principles
Yes, you will receive an allowance of up to £25 per week.
On successful completion, you will achieve a City & Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing Studies.
Applicants must have achieved a GCSE Grade 2 and a minimum of Entry 3 in maths and English when completing the initial assessment upon enrolment.
The course is FREE for anyone aged 16-18.
