Level 1 in Retail Knowledge
Retail Knowledge allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the retail sector.
This qualification is for anyone who works in or would like to work in retail. You don't need any previous experience or prior qualifications.
The start date will depend on which Training Centre you wish to study at.

You will achieve credits from a range of units. Your Tutor will go through this with you.
Units include:
- Understanding the business of retail
- Understanding customer service in the retail sector
- Understanding the retail selling process
- Understanding retail consumer law
If you do not hold the relevant English and maths qualifications, you will work towards them as part of this programme.

Yes, you will receive an allowance of up to £50 per week.
On successful completion you will achieve a Level 1 in Retail Knowledge.
There are no formal entry requirements however, you will need to attend an informal interview.
The course is FREE for anyone aged 16-18.
