This Level 2 Engineering study programme is designed to develop the knowledge and skills you need to undertake a wide range of engineering activities and achieve an industry-recognised qualification.
What is a Study Programme?
A Study Programme is a course designed for 16-18 year olds who want to progress onto an apprenticeship but don’t feel quite ready. A Study Programme will help you develop essential skills, gain industry-specific knowledge, and become more employable.

The course is divided into three key areas: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and fabrication & welding.

Assessment is continuous throughout the programme and includes:
You will be required to attend the Greater Manchester SkillCentre up to three days per week.
You may be eligible to apply for one or more of our bursaries if you meet the criteria.

On successful completion, you will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations.
