Skills Bootcamp in Software Development

This 12-week Skills Bootcamp is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to start your career in software development.
Duration
12 weeks
Location
Online Learning

This Skills Bootcamp is ONLY fully funded for those that live in the Northwest, Yorkshire or Humber regions.

The Skills Bootcamp in Software Development is a 12-week immersive course, focussing on Web Development and Software Development concepts using the JavaScript programming language.

JavaScript is the chosen language because of its use in front-end and back-end development, meaning students only have to learn the syntax for one programming language to become productive in multiple areas.

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to a guaranteed interview with a local employer.

On successful completion of this Skills Bootcamp, you will have learnt essential knowledge that can’t be found in a textbook – like problem-solving, communication skills and working in a team, as well as the key technical and commercial skills you need to land a great career in tech.

This training has been made possible and is free to individuals thanks to Greater Manchester Combined Authority securing funding for Skills Bootcamps, forming part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and funded through the Department of Education’s National Skills Fund.
