GC is proud to be working in partnership with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

The Growth Company Education and Skills are delighted to be working in partnership with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to deliver Functional Skills English and Maths and Essential Digital Skills to their staff who are wanting to upskill to enable them to progress within their roles.

Alison Balson, Director of Workforce said: “Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed to helping their people to develop, learn and grow in work. We are delighted to be working with The Growth Company for the delivery of Functional Skills and Essential Digital Skills. These opportunities have been promoted throughout the Trust and will help many of our staff develop skills that will be essential on their career development journey”

Kelly Bailey, Business Development Director at GC Education and Skills said: “We are excited to be working in partnership with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who are supporting their workforce gain the skills required to progress within the Trust. As a partnership, we have worked closely to develop a bespoke learning schedule that fits around the eight-week shift patterns worked by the staff. As an Ofsted Grade 2 provider, those enrolled can be assured that the training and support we offer will help them to achieve their future goals. By upskilling their current workforce, the NHS will boost morale, improve retention and help employees make a positive impact.”
