The Growth Company Education and Skills is proud to be part of the Manchester Post-16 Pathway Partnership, which has been named a Silver Winner at the Pearson National Teaching Awards 2025.
Celebrating Silver Success: Manchester Post-16 Pathway Partnership Recognised at National Teaching Awards
The announcement was made on National Thank a Teacher Day, a celebration of the inspirational work carried out by teachers, tutors and support staff across the country.
The award recognises the collective dedication, passion and impact of education providers who work together to ensure that young people have access to high-quality, inclusive learning opportunities beyond the age of 16. The Growth Company was one of a range of FE institutions alongside the Mancher City Council Colleagues – highlighting our strong integration across Greater Manchester’s education landscape.
The Growth Company Education and Skills supports thousands of learners each year through apprenticeships, adult education and training for young people aged 16–18. As an award winning training provider, we’re committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality learning that helps people build brighter futures.
Jon-Paul Rimington, Managing Director of the Growth Company Education and Skills, said: "It’s fantastic to see the collaborative work of the Post-16 Partnership recognised at a national level. This is a brilliant example of what we can achieve when schools, colleges, training providers and local authorities work together with a shared vision for our city’s young people."
The trophy will now go on a “roadshow” over the coming months, visiting each partner organisation and helping to shine a spotlight on the partnership’s impact. The Post-16 Pathway Partnership will also go forward for consideration for a Gold Award later this year.
We’d like to thank all our staff and partners for their continued commitment to supporting learners and helping shape brighter futures across Manchester.
