About this opportunity

Working with a team of skilled and qualified trades people you will be working in various types of social housing carrying out tasks from refurbishment, bathroom / kitchen installations to general building maintenance duties.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your apprenticeship working for our client who are specialist in social housing repairs. Working with a team of skilled and qualified trades people you will be working in various types of social housing carrying out tasks from refurbishment, bathroom and kitchen installations and general building maintenance duties across the North Derbyshire and Yorkshire area.

You will also be fully inducted into the company and get involved in all areas of construction as you will be working with various trades people and be allocated a Assessor to assist you in working towards your NVQ.

Full training will be provided and you will have to attend College on a day release basis to work towards your technical certificate and nvq level 2.

What you should have to apply

Ideally you will have a minimum of grade C or above in your Maths and English.

Personal Qualities

You must be hard working, able to work in a team, flexible on location and willing to work in varying working conditions.

Skills

Experience of working in the construction sector will be advantageous however, you will be fully trained and attend a local College on a day release basis over two years.
