To maintain these high standards Lockton would like to invest in an Apprentice within the Operations business unit.

The File Reviewer will assist in undertaking detailed audits of the business operations to ensure that the business meet their legal, regulatory and operational requirements. Key tasks include:

Planning, organising and conducting risk based electronic/file audits of the business
Loading and maintaining data collected from the audits into the file audit database
Analysing, interpreting results and findings in order that trends can be identified and observations and recommendations identified.

This opportunity would best suit candidates who have recently completed ‘A’ Levels and are looking for an alternative route to undertaking a degree course at University. The Apprenticeship is very well regarded as the ideal balance of vocational experience and academic development and provides an excellent base for a career in the Insurance industry.

The course of study you will undertake is Intermediate (Level 2) Apprenticeship - Providing Financial Services and/ or Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship -Providing Financial Services and Higher (Level 4) Apprenticeship in Insurance. This is fully funded and supported by our providing body who will mentor you through the academic element of the course.

Level 2, 3 and 4 Apprenticeships offer a true alternative as a structured progression pathway and enable candidates to gain a solid grasp of insurance practices within a supportive and experienced work environment.

What you should have to apply

Minimum 2 A Levels Grade C and above or equivalent.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both
verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines
are met without compromising quality
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and nvestigation.

Skills

Ability to identify opportunities for business development
Knowledge of the resources available within Lockton and how to source such services
Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal
learning, both internal and external to the company
A thorough knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton
A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
