Apprentice Vehicle Body Repair

About this opportunity

ATS Auto Services Ltd Ltd have an exciting opportunity in their body shop, for an apprentice body repairer. You will be mentored throughout your qualification by qualified body technicians within the workshop.

A normal day would include:
• Keeping workshop clean and tidy
• Learning how to use the correct tools and equipment used in vehicle body repair
• Removing and replacing panels – exterior and non-permanently fixed
• Removing and replacing structural motor vehicle body panels
• Carrying out minor repairs to motor vehicle body panels
• Learning how to spot and MAG weld
• Assisting other members of staff in their work and being given on the job training
• Ensuring work is carried out in a safe manner

ATS Auto Services is a body shop in the Manchester/Ardwick area. Due to constant growth are now looking to take on an apprentice in their body department.

What you could go on to do:
Possible progression within the company and progression onto a level 3 apprenticeship in body repair.

What you should have to apply
