About this opportunity

A Great opportunity for an individual to gain experience and training within a wide range of CNC machining from programming to conventional machines, must hold the skills to and enthusiasm to carry out tasks, be flexible and have a hands on attitude

Included in the overall role is training with systems and qualifications by attending college to achieve them with The Growth Company.
Team working, with dynamic input required so that projects meet tight deadlines for customers’ needs.

Progression onto fully qualified engineer once all qualifications and experience gained.

The role:
• Learning all aspects of milling and turning
• Stock control
• Goods in and out
• Support all internal departments as required
• Machine Programming and tool set up
• Engineering components on various materials

Will commence learning the basics of milling and turning to eventually becoming a valuable team member on our milling and turning operations. use a variety of programmes such as Mazak and Heidenheimer.
We require a person who is prepared to take their apprenticeship with us and aim for longevity within our established machine shop.

What you should have to apply

Maths and English level 4 and above
