This Apprenticeship is a 30-36 month programme where you will be provided on the job training and a highly competitive study support package for the CII qualification. You will be fully supported by Willis Towers Watson and our official government approved Training Provider throughout the duration of the programme.

Your application will be considered for one of the following teams:

Accounting & Settlement (A&S)
The A&S team is a centralised operations function that adds real value to our clients through the provision of a collection service for our business transactions. This includes the timely collection and onwards settlement of insurance monies to Clients/Markets and the collection of Commission, Brokerage and Fees. Credit control, relationship management, query resolution, cash collection, the secure handling of Client Money (in line with FCA and SOX regulation) and the associated cashiering and cash allocation processes are all managed within A&S.

Aerospace
The Aerospace team is a specialist team within Willis Towers Watson focusing on Global Airline, Aerospace and General Aviation risks. This role is within the General Aviation and Aerospace team which place insurance solutions for Corporate Jet and Fleet management companies; Private Jet owners; Airports, aviation products manufacturers to name but a few.

Financial Lines
The financial lines business is recruiting into two different areas. The FINEX team is the specialist team focussing on providing specialist advice and placing Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Pension Trustee Liability, Prospectus Liability, Crime and Cyber Insurance. We work with a diverse range of clients, from global conglomerates and government institutions to regional practices and SME’s.

Marine
Willis Towers Watson is one of the oldest brokers in marine insurance having commenced its operations in 1828 and remains at the forefront of the marine industry today. Our Global Marine structure is designed to best serve our clients locally, with a Global placement strategy to access competitive terms and conditions. This integrated approach is backed by decades of knowledge allowing us to offer global expertise through any point of contact at a local level, no matter where the marine risk may be.

Property & Casualty (P&C)
The P&C business place bespoke insurance and reinsurance solutions for our diverse client base, ranging from large global corporate clients, to Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME) and new start-ups. P&C split into two areas: Wholesale (Construction: civil, industrial, residential; Energy: oil & gas upstream and downstream, power, utilities, mining, metals) and Retail (Leisure & hospitality, real estate, healthcare, public sector, education; Retail & distribution, manufacturing, business services).

Both teams help our clients reduce the cost of risk in their business, providing financial, legislative and societal solutions to achieve their goals. As well as protecting our clients’ people, assets and liabilities, providing financial strength and outstanding claims service after unexpected events, such as natural catastrophes and personal injury.
