Working side by side with one of our consultants, your Key responsibilities will include the following;
• Assisting with the review & preparation of all appropriate notifications to the FCA, to include Authorisations, variation of permission application and regulatory returns
• Preparation of regular articles, fact sheets and technical guides to keep clients and colleagues abreast of industry changes
• Assisting with the updating of standard compliance documentation (including manuals, policies and monitoring programmes)
• Providing support to our regulatory subject matter experts through research
• Assisting with the producing written reports on remedial actions resulting from compliance support visits
• Keeping up to date with key issues and assess the impact that these may have on our client firms
• General administration duties including scanning, updating databases etc.
• Occasional travel to visit clients on site may be involved
Starting with the level 3 certificate in compliance and risk, on completion the candidate will progress to the level 6 senior risk and compliance qualification.
The role initially will be office based, however as the candidate’s knowledge improves and progresses, they will get the opportunity to shadow one of the lead consultants on client visits, therefore a driving licence would be desirable (although not essential).
With a starting salary of £15,000, this will increase to £17,500 upon completion of level 3 qualification, and to £25,000 - £30,000 upon completion of level 6.
