About this opportunity

A Fantastic opportunity is available at Coolkit Ltd. They are looking for an Automotive Fridge Fitter to join the business in Burnley. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right individual.

A normal day would include:

Role requires fitter to fit fridging equipment to a refrigerated van conversion. This includes connection of a compressor to the engine crank shaft and associated wiring, requiring some automotive powertrain understanding.
Gradually, this will extend to fitting fully electric fridge units, a process that is currently in its infancy.
The position requires overall good mechanical aptitude.
Fitting fridges, but with significant variety, driven by panel van make and model, size, fridge equipment supplier and configuration. Each day is therefore different.

What you could go on to do
Fridge commissioning, requiring additional qualification and eventually, possibly, a mobile technician, travelling throughout the UK. Competitive fully trained salary.
