Apprentice Manufacturing Technician (Garden Machinery Mechanic)
About this opportunity
Leachs Lawnmowers are looking for a new member of our skilled team to come on board to assist with the service and repair of its machinery, we are looking for someone who is motivated and driven to grow and become a skilled operative.
Train to be a qualified Manufacturing team member and learn new skills along the way.
• Learning the use of hand tools and power tools, you will experience hands on training of the following:
• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining all items of gardening machinery, diagnostics and fault finding
• sourcing and ordering parts and pricing repairs etc
• Some level of stock control will be involved in day to day work.
• Typical machinery would include lawnmowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, leaf blowers/collectors, chainsaws, disc cutters, ride on lawn tractors but not limited to petrol, electric and battery powered machinery.
• You will be expected to speak to customers in relation to their equipment when appropriate
Training, guidance and support will be available at all times.
