This is an exciting role within a creative environment. Working with the Content & Campaign team, creating all digital and print media campaigns. The work is varied and exciting, often to a tight deadline, so quick turnarounds will be required.
A normal day would include:
Most days will present you with a number of briefs covering any of the above design areas.
Some will be very quick turnaround jobs such as repurposing an image for a number of social media channels – (eg resizing it to specifications you will be given).
Other briefs (eg client presentations/tender documents) will have a longer deadline – a number of days for example – during which there will likely be revisions of the artwork to achieve a final product.
All briefs will have a realistic deadline and you will be encouraged to seek support from colleagues if you need it. This might be for them to help you with producing some icons for a document, advise on layout, or question if a style of document is on brand.
Over time, you’ll gain a knowledge of our clients’ brands (we have a wide portfolio that currently includes names you might be familiar with such as BT, LEGO, PepsiCo, Deloitte, Balfour Beatty, and a number of Universities – but also a lot of lesser-known clients that you might not have heard of.) and so an awareness of how companies present themselves is important.
What you could go on to do
There is progression within the role, to take the position to a higher level or to develop into a similar role within the team if the individual shows skills in another area such as video/design.
How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
What will happen next
