Apprentice Childcare Practitioner
About this opportunity
Our nursery is part of community complex, featuring a café, pharmacy, opticians, GP surgery, hair salon and a fantastic community space.
We are looking for a passionate individual to complement our small nursery team of practitioners.
A normal day would include:
Supporting children with mealtimes
Setting and planning the room with activities linked to children’s needs and interest
Active outdoor play
Supporting at sleep times
Ensuring the room is safe from hazards
Writing observations about children’s learning and development
Our setting is supportive of internal growth and will support staff with a keen interest in development. We want to upskill our team and support staff training and development. We recognise good practice and reward this.
Starting salary min. £4.70 per hour.
