About this opportunity

A fantastic role is available at Amann Threads UK Ltd. You will ensure all Import and Export duties are completed being conducted correctly in accordance with procedures, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy.

A normal day would include:

Main responsibilities:

• Checking and invoicing of export shipments
• Creating and printing of additional labelling according to customer requirements
• Issuing export documentation – invoices, packing lists and customs entries
• Booking shipments with forwarders via email or online
• Ensuring shipments are ready for collection on agreed date – labels applied, pallets wrapped
• Forward all necessary paperwork to customers – invoices and packing lists, delivery notes, test certificates, waybills etc.
• Logging and filing of export paperwork in monthly summary
• Ensuring receipt of proof of export for all shipments
• Checking and logging of export freight invoices
• Recording details of any premium freight costs
• Recording and booking of customer return shipments
• Agreeing deliveries of bulk raw material deliveries by suppliers
• Organising and filing of import paperwork for yarn supplies
• Booking of raw material and purchased finished goods
• Other export and import duties as directed by the management team
