A normal day would include:
As a Customer Service Advisor within our growing team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring the office runs like clockwork and our customers are always happy. Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries, provide insurance quotations and undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a ‘can-do’ proactive enthusiasm. You will also maximise inbound sales opportunities, cross selling to existing clients and assisting with renewal retention by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.
The typical duties for this role will include:
• Review and advise upon customer general insurance requirements
• Process all customer instructions for policy amendments to meet required completion standards
• Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers
• Initiate proactive sales activity to create new business opportunities for the Agency.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products, as applicable to product licences
• Obtain appointments for our Financial Advisor to contribute towards our Agency target
• Working within Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• Use of Microsoft Word & Excel as a minimum
• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of agency and NFU Mutual staff
• Comply with all applicable sections of the NFU mutual insurance compliance manual for the agency network, the agency guide and local agency procedures
• Maintain record keeping requirements for your role
• Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management Team
