This is an exciting, busy and varied role with reach across the business. As our Apprentice Accounts Assistant, you will have the ability to multitask and successfully prioritise your own workload.
Under the supervision of the Business Manager:
• Undertake accounting procedures including bank and cash reconciliation
• Daily processing of purchase invoices/credits, for multisite operation, ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and processed via Xero and Dext
• Reconcile supplier accounts to statements
• Investigate and follow up any revenue / stock discrepancies, in collaboration with site Managers
• Assist in the preparation of weekly supplier payment run for approval and processing
• Assist in the prepare weekly internal financial reports detailing sales/revenue/GP for individual sites
• Assisting with set up and maintenance of supplier accounts
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT Returns in line with HMRC guidelines and requirements
• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly P&L Reports and supporting Management Accounts

The goal is to administer a portfolio of liquidation cases with the aim of progressing them to closure in a timely manner. There are excellent prospects for progression within the role and promotion to a senior level for the right candidate.
An exciting role for an enthusiastic individual to support the Finance team at Examworks. You will be completing a variety of Finance related tasks including processing receipts, monitoring cash received and responding to enquiries.
