About this opportunity

Weedon Corrugated Products Limited have a fantastic opportunity available. You will be reporting directly to the Sales and Commercial Office Manager, carrying out a range of essential office duties.

A normal day would include:

• Learn and become adept on all the IT systems the business uses including becoming confident in the use of all Microsoft Office Packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Capable of composing emails and general correspondence under the direction of their supervisor
• Assisting with the extraction of details from reports/documents
• Collating and adding data to packaging database where appropriate
• Assist members of staff with all areas of customer service, including estimating, order entry, invoice queries and any non-conformance related issues
• Confident in developing wider team relationships and supporting staff in those areas as required, becoming a positive influence and promoting the highest standard of customer service
• Assist in the development and implementation of ‘projects and improvement initiatives’ and identify where improvements in any area of work can be achieved.
• Have a can-do attitude to enable problem solving
• To work in line with the company mission, vision and values
• Communicating with our customers either on the phone, social media or email
• Understanding the business processes, the policies we have and the legislation we work under
• Taking responsibility for the work you carry out
• Apprentice must keep a log of everything learned for the apprenticeship and ensure that work is produced in a timely manner
