The role is working in a busy and friendly Aerospace Trimshop, working on all aspects of soft and hard trim including sewing and patterning up. The successful candidate will be working with a highly skilled and experienced team.
Day to day duties will include:
• To be fully trained how to cut foam to make aircraft seats, mattresses etc
• To be fully trained how to cut and sew leather
• To be fully trained how to make seat cover and other patterns
• To be fully trained how to cut and sew fabric
• To be fully trained how to strip, prep and recover hard trim items such as galleys, sidewalls and bulkheads
• To be fully trained in foam repair and other aspects of spray gluing
• To be fully trained in how to read drawings and the technical data supplied
• You will be expected to keep your working area clean and tidy throughout the day
• You will be expected to conform with CAA/EASA and the company Quality Control Procedures
• You will need to have a flexible approach in learning
• You will be expected to carry out ant duties requested by your supervisor or manager to the services offered by the company during busy times
• You will need a keen eye for detail
