This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to undertake formal mechanical and electrical engineering training within a modern progressive company, serving the needs of a unique sector of the food industry.
The role can be varied but would include:
• Servicing of customers cereal processing equipment, including rollermills, sifters and purifiers, in-house or at a customer’s location, to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Installation and repairs to mechanical conveyors, elevators and pneumatic transfer systems including blower units and airlocks
• Installation and servicing of specific items of milling equipment such as debranners
• Servicing and calibration of process weighing equipment
• Assisting in the design and development of new equipment
All work would be undertaken by a small, friendly team of engineers or process specialists and often involves direct interface with a customer.
There is opportunity to progress within the company and continual academic self development is encouraged and supported.
