Duties/Areas of Responsibility - The position will cover:
• Filing duties and sending registered office post
• Basic company secretarial work
• Preparing basic payroll runs
• Undertaking bank reconciliations
• Bookkeeping for clients from incomplete records
• Working on projects within the business, such as going paperless or reviewing GDPR requirements
• Chasing debtors
• Learning about all the roles within a small business and ensuring processes and procedures exist for each of them
• Making improvements to our business processes
If you enjoy the bookkeeping side of the role, then this is something that we could look at progressing to increase tax and accounting knowledge via study support after the apprenticeship is completed
