A normal day would include:
• Dealing with customers, quoting, assisting with production manager with schedules and office organisation
• You will also look at managing orders and flowing them, which will include using CAD
• Enquiries will include interpreting plans from different sectors such as architecture or engineering and interpreting the drawing to make it suitable to produce
• Basic administrative tasks
• Provide high quality effective and efficient support to the office
• Develop draftsman skills for AutoCAD
• Quality Inspection, reading drawing and developing inspection skills
• Reverse engineering
• Contract review
• Procurement
• Quote & float jobs
• Stock control
• Deal with internal issues & external customers
• Working in the laser department
What you could go on to do: You will learn to be multiskilled across technical sales, technical support and CAD design and move on to complete a Level 3 qualification. This allows you multiple pathways in our business, whether moving into a director role or managing other departments in the business. You can also choose to focus on your specialism.
How you will be supported: You will have constant support from the technical team.
What will happen next: Interview will be followed by a job trial and then starting the business with training in all fields.
