As an Engineering Apprenticeship you will develop key competencies of your specialism by combining ‘on the job’ learning alongside receiving training from a college provider.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Learning to use tools, equipment, and technology specific to your specialism
• Learning to develop engineering maintenance skills
• Applying structured techniques to common and non-routine problems and fault diagnosis
• Assist in planning small works and project works
• Being a team player, acting professionally and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders across the business, and customers
• Contribute to building an inclusive culture, taking a zero-tolerance approach to behaviours and attitudes that don't support equality, diversity and inclusion
• Ensure own health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace, ensuring the zero harm principles and just culture is demonstrated in all ways of working
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards
• Studying and completing:
Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) - Digital Signals & Telecoms, Electrical & Mechanical, Rolling Stock Maintenance and Track Maintenance

Desirable:
• Basic tool-handling and/or electrical, joinery, carpentry, plumbing or painting
• Full driving licence
