About this opportunity

Crown Point Glass has an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join their experienced team of Fenestration Installers. A professional Installer/technician will support and mentor you in becoming fully skilled and qualified.

On a day-to-day basis as an apprentice, you will be doing the following:

• Working independently or as part of a team
• Follow instructions from setting up to completion of each job
• Learn how to fabricate to the specifications set out by our various system suppliers
• Learn techniques to enable you to carry out installation of the Windows, Doors, Conservatories, Orangeries etc to a high standard that meets our client’s requirements
• Provide excellent customer service skills
• General housekeeping & work area cleanliness
• Loading, unloading, and general labouring
• General Health & Safety
• Health and Safety rules and regulations

The training you will be getting
The apprenticeship in Fenestration consists of:
• Intermediate Fenestration and Installation Level 2
• Functional Skills in English and maths (Level 1/2) where applicable

All aspects of your training will be delivered on-site with your employer. Your designated assessor will visit you regularly every six to eight weeks and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship program.
You will achieve a qualification in Fenestration and Installation Level 2

On successful completion of your Fenestration Installation apprenticeship. If you show the correct skills and abilities, you will have the opportunity to progress onto a full-time position and enhance your career progression opportunities.
