Hull City Council are looking for a self-motivated and confident individual to help implement a framework to assess information and data, looking at how it is collected, managed, stored, analysed and used.
A normal day would include:
• Accessing our systems to locate information
• Recording how our information and data is created, managed and stored
• Identifying how this information and data is analysed and used
• Reporting and presenting findings
• Make recommendations for improvements to information and data
• Communicating with a wide range of staff across various teams

This apprenticeship will provide you with a good understanding of the important of information and data in complex organisations, which is a growth area within local government.
How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
You will be allocated a mentor within the organisation and provided with learning opportunities outside of the apprenticeship.

5 GCSEs grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Careful attention to detail, with an aptitude for working quickly and accurately

• Confidence in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Enjoy working with people as part of a wider team
• Show enthusiasm to learn and be proactive in your approach to work and professional development
• To show initiative, curiosity and drive through your work, effectively prioritising tasks and managing these to deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively across a range of media
• Some understanding of data and basic statistical techniques (e.g. calculation of averages or percentages)
• Some experience of using excel for data organisation and basic manipulation (i.e. using filters)
• Be able to multi-task and/or to use problem-solving skills independently and as part of a larger team
