About this opportunity
We’re looking for a young, enthusiastic person to fill our role as a trainee within our Lloyds Wholesale Insurance broking team based in our Sale office.
The vacancy is for a trainee Wholesale Account Handler working within the Lloyds Wholesale Broking department of an Independent Commercial Insurance Broker.
As a Lloyds accredited Insurance Broker we help around 400 other Insurance brokers from all over the UK place Insurance risks into the Lloyds & London Insurance market.
Our team in Manchester are responsible for :-
Relationship management of our panel of broker customers
Logging all new enquiries
Vetting risk information
Submitting details to Insurers to obtain quotations
Issuing quotations
Producing policy documentation
Invoicing premiums
Preparation of monthly bordereaux for submission to Insurers
Processing mid term policy adjustments
Production of renewal terms.
What you should have to apply
• 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English – Grade A-C
Personal Qualities
Must be able to work individually using own initiative and also as part of a team, work to set timescales and deadlines, be smart in appearance and punctual, and act professionally when dealing with colleagues and peers.
Skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to learn new skills and procedures quickly
