About this opportunity

This role will be to provide reception support to a busy and very friendly charitable housing trust team.

You will be meeting and greeting visitors, signing them into the building, answering telephone enquiries and directing them to the appropriate extension, taking messages and emailing the appropriate team promptly. Other office based duties such as Photocopying, Mail and making brews for visitors and staff.

The team consists of approx. 17- 20 office based staff and another 50+ field based housing officers who offer bespoke support to vulnerable adults ( however the service users do not access this office environment)
Good communication skills will be required and the ability to act on your own initiative at times may also be useful.

The role will also expand for the right candidate to gain new skills support the housing officers with elements of the administrational tasks, due to them being outreach; they often come back to the office to catch up on paperwork.
You will also support team meetings, printing enough copies of the agenda and minute writing / typing up the minutes, saving documents and distributing to appropriate teams.
It is envisaged that the role will grow and develop into some IT based tasks- such as setting up laptops and mobile phones for housing officers.

What you should have to apply

Helpful if the candidate has grade C’s or above in Maths and English, to help with the transition into an apprenticeship.
