The Hairbank is one of the longest standing hairdressers in the Urmston area with over 30 years’ experience and are proud of their reputation in the hairdressing community. Their work has been recognised by the industry specialists, and has had their photographic work published in fashion magazines and well known department stores.

The Hairbank have a vacancy for a hairdressing apprentice. If you are looking for an apprenticeship now or are leaving school in 2017 then you could be the ideal candidate to join the team. Take advantage of the training on offer and you could be on your way to becoming part of the award winning team.

A normal day would include :
Welcoming and greeting clients on arrival.
Supplying refreshments to clients.
Gowning clients.
Providing shampooing and conditioning treatments.
Assisting the team of stylists.
Maintaining the presentation of the salon.
Some reception duties.

What can I progress To?
With training you will learn to blow dry, style, dress, colour and cut hair and be given the opportunity to practice your skills in salon where you will be encouraged to bring in models to extend your skills and become qualified to Level 2 NVQ standard.
Once you have completed your Level 2 qualification, you can progress straight onto a NVQ Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Hair where you will continue to learn new skills and techniques.

You will be fully supported throughout your training from our highly qualified team of hairdressing experts who will help you succeed.

What you should have to apply
