This role involves working with an operational support function consisting of planners, customer service advisors and administrators.
This is an exciting time to join Excalon as we are growing all the time. We therefore have an opportunity for the right person to provide administration support to the planning team which involves the creation of job packs, answering telephone calls, photocopying and maintaining a filing system. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and resilient. Knowledge of Outlook and the MS Office Suite would be an advantage. We have exciting times ahead therefore plenty of opportunities for the right people to progress over time.
A normal day would include
Maintain and manage all relevant filing systems including work plans and original drawings
Produce and make up work packs for the field based operational teams
Create and maintain spreadsheets
General office duties such as answering the telephone, photocopying, scanning
What you could go on to do
The business is very supportive of continuous development and therefore once the initial apprenticeship period has been successfully completed, there are lots of opportunity for progression. The department in multi-functional and therefore planning, arranging permits or moving into customer service are all options once the initial apprenticeship has been completed. There are also other office support functions such as procurement, health and safety and the commercial team where future progression is possible.
