The apprentice will train to become a skilled Maintenance Engineer gaining extensive knowledge of the full range of Industrial Laundry and other engineering equipment at the companies industrial sites.
A normal day would include
The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the business with the aim of specialising in the maintenance of equipment required in commercial laundries, including electrical and mechanical components and control systems for Industrial machines. The role will be practical hands on shop floor based from day one learning from an experienced specialist engineer. Working on the maintenance of Industrial laundry machinery and associated equipment you will development Electrical and Mechanical Engineering skills to become a stand alone skilled engineer. Continuous learning and development through the apprenticeship will be your aim to become capable of repairing, maintaining and improving all equipment on the companies sites.
Working correctly at all times to site and customers Environmental, ISO quality and H&S procedures.
Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.
Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required.
