The role primarily involves proactive monitoring and management of a variety of Microsoft networks handling and resolving issues identified by our management application before they impact our client’s productivity.
The combination of on the job internal training and professional training enables the individual to build on existing knowledge and have a good foundation in many aspects of IT support provision.
Delivery of reactive 1st Line support and associated services to our client base will be an additional responsibility once required technical level has been gained.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to gain valuable experience and indeed industry standard and leading IT vendor accreditations and build a career at a highly accredited IT services provider.
GCSEs or equivalent A-C in English and Maths.
Good basic knowledge or an interest in IT including operating systems and applications
Good personal time management skills and a flexible approach to carrying out duties
Good team working skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will possess first rate communication skills, operate effectively within a professional team environment and have a personal desire to succeed. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must, as are excellent admin skills. Whilst not essential, experience working with some Microsoft Windows operating systems on PCs or Servers would be advantageous.
