About this opportunity

You will be responsible for labouring, housekeeping, installing lighting & power systems, inside/outside lighting, plugs, sockets, wiring, testing & inspection and various cables and ducting across Greater Manchester and the North West.

The Guinness Partnership owns and manages nearly 60000 homes, employ around 3000 members of staff, and provides services for more than 120000 customers nationwide.

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to work from their Oldham office to be trained up and start an electrical apprenticeship working alongside the repairs and maintenance team.

A normal day would include:

Meeting at the depot in Oldham to be allocated daily jobs and you will then work alongside a team of qualified electricians and tradespeople and perform the following duties:

You will be responsible for labouring, housekeeping, installing lighting & power systems, inside/outside lighting, plugs, sockets, wiring, testing & inspection and various cables and ducting across Greater Manchester and the North West.

You will also be working in tenanted and void properties across the Greater Manchester area and the North West.

You will attend College on a day release basis as part of your apprenticeship.

What you should have to apply

Ideally maths and English at GCSE level if not you will do functional skills at College.
