Product production includes the development, manufacturing, filling and packing of household, automotive, pet care and personal care products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands on approach to work and is physically fit. The successful candidate will get fantastic support and develop the skills of a line operator. You will be assigned a workplace mentor and be involved in all aspects of the role to experience a good all round learning programme. This is an 18 month apprenticeship and a permanent position will be offered on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
A normal day would include
• Preparing for the manufacturing process
• Weighing and measuring raw materials
• Basic Quality control tests
• Placing stock in designated areas
• Packing stock for dispatch
• Batching and preparing orders
• General housekeeping

Your Apprenticeship will be on the shop floor completing an Improving Operational Performance Apprenticeship. The aim of the business is to develop your skills across the manufacturing process enabling you to become in the first instance a semi-skilled operative with the aim to become multi skilled once the apprenticeship program is complete. A training program will be in place to ensure you learn all the skills required to carry out the job.
Apprentices may also be required to perform other duties as specified by the manager once competent and trained to do so.
Compliance with all Health and Safety requirements as instructed on induction and throughout your apprenticeship program. Be proactive at reporting potential hazards.
