Manufacturing and Warehouse Operative Apprentice

About this opportunity

This apprenticeship opportunity offers a person who has an interest in manufacturing to learn about chemicals within the lubricants industry, warehousing and stock control routines in a busy environment.

The overall objective of the role is to gain an in-depth knowledge of the lubricant products and how they are made up to meet the customer’s specification and how they are used in their area of business. Working in a small team, it is very important that you can be flexible, helpful to colleagues and become multi skilled within the business. You will learn about the large range of products and take an interest in how they are used as part of their supply to various industries. Fork lift truck training will be given.

The main duties include:
Learning about the products and services
Blending of oils
Understanding of batch numbers
Receiving products
Quality control checking products meet the required specification
Logging materials in and out using a computerized system
Storing correctly
Packing for dispatch
Labeling products
Clearing and tidying of work environment

How you will be supported:
Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Growth Company. Comprehensive product training will be given by the company and you will be trained to a high level of expertise and confidence.
