Our Functional Skills qualifications are for anyone wishing to develop their maths skills. They focus on both the underpinning skills as well as the ability to apply maths to different contexts.

Our Functional Skills qualifications are available across four levels:
- Entry 1
- Entry 2
- Entry 3
- Level 1
Our Functional Skills Maths focuses on applying mathematical concepts to real-life situations, making learning relevant to everyone. We’ll help you to use maths in everyday scenarios such as budgeting, shopping, and problem-solving.
The course includes topics related to personal finance, such as understanding interest rates and calculating discounts, ultimately improving your financial literacy and helping you make informed financial decisions.
On successful completion, you will achieve a Functional Skills qualification.
There are no entry requirements for this course. Prior to enrolment, you will complete an assessment, the outcome of the assessment will decide which level you will be enrolled on to.

This course won't cost you anything if you meet the entry criteria:
- Aged 19+
- Have a basic level of written and spoken English
- Right to Work Documentation required (including a passport/birth certificate/BRP Residency Card)
- Proof of address required (council tax, utility bill, benefits letter etc.)
- You not have completed a Level 2 in maths
