The Growth Company: St Helens Skills Centre

At the Growth Company we understand that taking the first steps after leaving school can be challenging. That’s why we offer unique courses and extensive support designed around your needs.

What is a Study Programme?

A Study Programme is a tailored educational plan for young people, typically aged 16 to
18, designed to prepare you for further education, employment, or apprenticeships. Study
Programmes are tailored to fit your individual needs, taking into account your career goals,
academic strengths, and areas for development.

Your Study Programme will include a core qualification along with additional options
such as Essential Digital Skills, Health & Safety, and Maths and English (if needed). You’ll
also have the opportunity to complete a work placement or gain work experience while
studying with us.
