Higher Openshaw School are looking to employ an office administrator to join their professional and friendly team. The successful candidate will report directly to the school business manager and work closely with the head teacher.
A normal day would include:
• Assisting with pupil first aid and welfare duties
• Organising business travel arrangements and appointments and maintaining up to date diaries on behalf of school staff
• Providing an efficient, accurate word processing support service
• Maintaining, recording and updating all administrative information systems and procedures as required, including retrieving and collating information to a high standard
• Undertaking reception duties, dealing with routine and face and face enquiries and signing in visitors
• Maintaining manual and computerised records and using IT systems effectively to provide reports and statistics
• Arranging storage of stocks and supplies
• Compiling with all policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection
• Participating in meetings as required
• Taking part in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
