A fantastic opportunity with excellent prospects has arisen for a young person to join this company as a trainee Autocare Technician in their workshop in Urmston.
The right young person will have an opportunity to work towards a Level 2 Apprentice
The successful applicant will be expected to learn about the following:
• Keeping the workshop clean & tidy
• How to use tools & equipment used in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Safe working procedures in the workshop
• Assisting other vehicle technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training
• How to service and inspect a vehicle
• How to safely remove and replace Engine, Chassis, Electrical and Transmission components
• How to manage stock and deliver excellent customer service
.
What you should have to apply
Ideally grades C (or 4) and above in GCSE Maths and English
Personal Qualities
Punctuality, Reliability, Honesty and a disciplined attitude is required
Skills
• To have a keen & genuine interest in the Automotive Trade
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Team working skills
• Good Communication skills
• The garage would prefer apprentices with some experience who may be looking for a new placement.
