As an IT Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
• Administer and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functioning
• Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's systems and data
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new technology solutions
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for improvements

Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and security measures
Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
As part of the IT team responsible to ensure that the IT systems function smoothly, securely, reliably and efficiently to support staff and students across the curriculum and administrative networks throughout the trust.
