About this opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join the University as an Apprentice. The role will be varied and interesting.

Overall purpose of the job:

To gain a broad range of administrative experience in support of Alliance Manchester Business School Postgraduate Programmes.

A normal day would include
•General clerical support including; word processing, filing, photocopying
•Data input and retrieval from IT systems
•Use of spreadsheets
•Answering telephones and taking messages
•Assisting with placing purchase orders and organising travel
•Assisting with the preparation for meetings e.g. refreshments, room bookings, distribution of papers etc
•Assistance in preparing induction packs and start of year materials
•Assisting diary management
•Stock control and re-order as and when required
•Attending meetings and taking notes

On occasion, some out of hours working may be required.

What you should have to apply

Minimum of 5 GCSE'S grade A-C including Maths and English preferred.
