Express Gifts Limited are looking for an apprentice to work alongside the ‘home’ buying team. You will build their online presence, facilitate increasing sales and stretch the digital offer to improve the customer experience.
A normal day would include:
•Contacting and working with suppliers to develop and identify their online product proposals
•Ensuring the existing product templates are completed accurately
•Managing workflows and prioritising range developments effectively
•Managing the end to end processes
•Benchmarking – monitoring market prices
•Reviewing the product offer
•Liaising with the buyers to approve product selection and pricing
•Despatching and collecting buying contracts
•Communicating with the quality control department to ensure packaging and certification meet our requirements
•Communicating with the merchandising team to ensure products are available for sale online
•Co-ordinating with the e-commerce team
•Preparing weekly sales reports
Express Gifts provides a personal shopping service to around 1.5 million customers each year through a combination of direct marketing and online via the studio.co.uk and ace.co.uk websites.
