A normal day would include
This role is a varied one which involves both controlling stock and working closely with customer requirements, dealing with customers served at the Trade counter and processing online sales. The role will occasionally include adding products to our online platforms. You have to learn about the large range of products and take an interest in how they are used as part of the repair of equipment.
The main duties include:
Learning about the products and services
Working on the Trade counter and dealing with customers in a polite and helpful manner
Receiving goods
Checking goods meet the required specification
Booking in on the computerized system
Processing online sales
Adding products onto online platforms
Storing correctly
Repacking for dispatch
Wrapping and labeling goods
Preparing for deliveries or supplying to the engineering department
Clearing & tidying of work environment
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements as instructed on induction and throughout your apprenticeship program. Be proactive at reporting potential hazards.
