Our Education Programmes offer a supportive, tailored learning experience for young people aged 16 to 18 (up to 24 with an EHCP).
Our hands-on learning facilities include two fully equipped construction workshops and a professional training salon, alongside comfortable classrooms, a learner kitchen and lounge and a subsidised shop, all designed to help you thrive and support your learning journey.
At Wigan Skills Centre we have excellent achievement rates with learners encouraged and supported to achieve to the best of their ability. We believe that every learner can achieve regardless of their starting point or prior experience of learning and are committed to helping overcome barriers. Learners will have an individualised programme tailored to their own interests and goals.
Progression opportunities include employment, further education or training and apprenticeships.
